Eugene has at least two great fish shacks, so I was certain that we could get reliable food for a quick motel dinner. The special on Sunday night was fresh sturgeon. We had spent a good part of the day at the trout and sturgeon fish hatchery on the Columbia river, so the choice was fitting. The fish and chips required decent beer, so I jumped over to the Steelhead Brewery on 5th St and got a growler of Bombay Bomber India Pale Ale. The boys were pleased with the fish and the beer. We cleaned our plates and licked our fingers.
